Dhal - Paruppu kadayal


Ingredients:

Red gram - Thuvaram Paruppu - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste

Method:

Wash and keep red gram in a pressure cooker. Add 1 cup of water to be boiled.
Keep it for 15 minutes and then smash it

Dhal is ready to be served. Serve it with ghee. Dhal can be served for 2 people. It hardly takes 20 minutes to cook.

Note: Dhal may have some stones or dust particles. So clean it, wash 2 times and keep in pressure cooker. This is served as initial item before lunch. It will be very tasty and good for health.

Optional: Cumin seeds (Jeeragam) and green chillies can be added according to taste.
